As you are surely aware, a single-session DVD-ROM (data) disc written in |
ISO 9660 should be readable in any compatible DVD-ROM drive under the
same OS. In order to offer options for your inability to do so, we will
need some additional information. Perhaps the first step is for you to
describe what happens when you try to read the disc.
1. Does it stabilize in the drive?
2. If so, does it show files?
3. If so, are those the right files with the right names?
4. If so, then can we assume that they cannot be read?
Wherever the failure occurs in the above sequence, information on how it
occurs will be most helpful.
Mike

Maybe your CD-ROMs don't like the particular disc brand, maybe you
burned faster than the rated media speed, maybe your CD-ROMs not
compatible with DVD-R format. When you used Nero, did you select
"DVD-ROM (ISO)"?

If you identify the software you're using for the job and

you a workaround.

Thanks for your reply.
The software is Easy cd creator version 4.02d, first session TAO,
second session TAO. Automatically import previous session (have
tried manual also). Other settings:- Data CD, Joliet, Mode2
cdromxa,Preserve normal file ordering - single data track only.
Hope that is enough info to help.

What are the write speeds given by [Nero CD-DVD Speed, Disc Info]?
As much as you can, spell out the exact, detailed steps you used with
Nero, starting with Nero version number.
(No response from me if you snip out any portion of my post, except this
line.) |
