I got a Plextor 712A. It is the first burner that I've had that seems
to vary the speed of the burn in order to maximize optimal writes. At
least, thats what I understand from reading the manual.

The EZCD software that comes with it specifically supports that
ability with a speed selection option. I have many problems with the
EZCD software and much prefer Nero. However, I don't know if Nero 6
supports that variable burn ability.

Any information on this topic is greatly appreciated.
