Scan Dual IV batch question |
|
|
Does anyone know if there is a way to tell the Konica Minolta Scan Dual
IV that you only have 4 frames of film negatives? Most of my negatives
come in sets of 4 and the scanner wants to try and scan all 6. Sure I
can hit cancel but it would be nice if it would just stop at 4.
Thanks |

As long as you're scanning uncropped, and you're relying on auto-focus:
After the holder is pulled in, and without doing a preview, click the
first frame, hold shift and click the fourth frame (selects one thru
4), and click the scan arrow.
If you do need to do a preview, you just have to babysit until it's
JUST finished frame 4 index scan, then hit cancel.
Or use the batch process utility (not sure if it'a available on the
IV), and select the frames you want. |

It is, I used it almost exclusively at one time. |
