Deep Yellow Paper WAY Too Dark |
|
|
Hello.
I am scanning with a Canon DR-9080c sheetfed scanner. Although some
of the pages of the documents are on white paper, other pages are on
colored paper (including a dark yellow), and the scanned image appears
very dark on the screen.
Is there a setting that I can change to "lighten up" the BACKGROUND
without making the TEXT any lighter? (In fact, some of the documents
are duplicated receipts and the text *needs* to be darker.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

Gamma?
Or curves in general, if you want the text to become *darker* than it
was originally?
Also, just try "auto levels" (i.e. per-channel normalization) in any
graphics program, if the scan has *no* white parts (only yellow and black).
That way, the background should become white.
