Sense Key Not Ready |
|
|
Hello,
I have an Atlas V disk connected to an AIC 7880 controller and I believe
that the disk has failed. When I go to the SCSI utilities and verify disk
I get Sense Key 02h not ready. I can feel teh disk spin up and then stop.
Am I pooched? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
tks

Thank goodness you have a good backup! (You do, right? <g>)
Experience tells me that the drive is probably toast, though it
(remotely) could be a cable/connector problem. |
