I need to get a new UK power tranformer for my Minolta Negative
scanner, an Elite 5400.
I've found one here:
http://www.datamind.co.uk/Templates/frmTemplateM1.asp?SubFolderID=188&SearchYN=N
, but thirty pounds seems a bit steep!
The model number is AC-U23.
Any thoughts on whether a normal transformer would do the trick. If so
what would the output voltage be?
Many thanks in advance for your help.

Hi.
The output is +24volts and the current is 0.84 amp. The centre pin on
the connector is Positive.
These have just been read off the back of my power supply.
I use mine in a switched multi connector, so that the primary is only on
when I am using it.
