I want to run two or more Genius VideoCam Slim USB2 cameras on one
computer. The computer has USB2 ports.

WinXP Pro SP2 identifies the two cameras as VideoCam Slim USB2 and
VideoCam Slim USB2 #2.

Each camera runs by itself, however, they will not both run at the
same time.

I have got the latest drivers off the GeniusNet web site.

Any help would be most appreciated.

Slim chance. Most usb cams use the same generic usb drivers which
don't seem to allow the driver to be used more than once at a
time.

In general, you can't use identical cameras on same machine at same
time since they use same Plug-and-Play ID. However, it looks like WinXP
can already distinguish two cameras with different names in your case,
you can have a try with our software WatcherForYou that supports
multiple USB cameras at same time. You can download it at
http://www.comctech.com for free. Before you try it, make sure you
install the camera driver two times.

Good luck!

Try putting each camera on its own pair of USB ports (i.e.,
not having both cameras plugged into the same port pair).
