Problems burning *.iso to DVD-R, DVD+R, DVD+RW... |

HI
HOw can i get Nero 6.6.x to burn an iso created by DVDit Pro 6 to
DVD-+R/W? Nero demands a CD-R or CD-RW! I am using a DVD-+RW NEC ND 3540A.

That NEC drive will also read and write to CD-R/RW media. You probably have the
CD-R/RW drive selected in Nero, that's why it's asking for this media type.
Check your Nero settings.

Select "DVD" in the compilation pane instead of CD. ;-)

Close, but I think the fault is selecting from the CD menu instead of
the DVD menu when the wizard first fires up. Drive selection is an issue
only when there are multiple drives from which to select. <G>

Now wait a minute. Isn't an ISO file simply a disc image? It's
written to the disc sector at a time, so one should be able to read
the disc back sector at a time and compare against the original ISO
file. I don't see any black magic required.

Actually, that's what I was trying to say, but I wasn't sure whether the OP was
using Nero Burning ROM or Nero Express. In Nero Express, they are listed as
separate drives.
