+ Recently, after producing a CD with external
SCSI CD burner; I found this disk could not be
read with a 2nd (internal) non-scsi CD drive...
the SCSI drive reads it fine, however.

+ I took the disk to library, and it does read
on their non-scsi CD drives... I'm just wondering
what setting or utility might fix this for me at home ?

+ I have several disks produced previously with
this same SCSI burner, which DO read as normal on my
non-scsi CD drive... so, Im at a loss to explain why
newly produced disks wont.
+ Anyone have this problem figured out ?

CDs may sometimes be unreadable due to being written with older CD-R
drives, or using questionable media, or trying to read them with an
old(er) reader.

Try different media types, or even cleaning the reader lens (though
this may be harmful too).

This has definitely nothing to do with the SCSIness of the writer.
