Hi All,

Intel RAID Controller SRCU31L
OS Windows 2000 Server
RAID 5

1. I want to add another hardisk do I have to do anything special
other than add the hardisk and perform a bus scan?

2. My controller supports hot swap does this mean that I can remove or
add hardisk anytime without turning off the machine?

3. I've read in www.scsifaq.com that if your scsi controller supports
hot swap and your OS does not then there will be a problem. Is this
true for Windows 2000 server?

4. Do I have to power down the server, add the hardisk and go to the
scsi controller bios to be able to see the new hardisk?

5. If I'll have to do number 4 what should I do after I'm in the bios?
