Hi,

I have a 36,7Gb Quantum SCSI (Atlas 10k RPM) that has a miserable writing
speed - Mesaured with a benchmark prog. often less than 1Mb/s. Reading is ok
(~35Mb/s). The disk is mounted together with a well working IBM disk in a
Compaq Proliant 800 (dual PII 450MHz) running Win 2000.
I have also tried to install the disk on an Adaptec 2940UW in the same
machine - Same story.
Installed on the internal dual channel adapter I get a 1270-SMART error
message. After pressing F1 the comp. starts without further errors.
Installed on the Adaptec ctrl. there is no error messages.

Any ideas ????

Regards
Soren
